Laughing and Dancing night

What’s more fun than laughing? Followed by a free flowing Nia dance exercise afterwards? Join Lais (Laughter yoga coach) and Katia (Nia Licensed Teacher) for a unique mind – body event, full of happy vibes in an extraordinary atmosphere.

How does it work?

Laughter triggers healthy physical changes in the body. It strengthens our immune system, boosts our energy and protects us from the damaging effects of stress. When laughter is shared, it binds people together while increasing happiness.

Along with staying fit, dancing brings a wide range of physical and mental benefits that complement laughing. These include improved balance and spatial awareness, increased physical confidence, improved mental functioning, general and psychological well-being, greater self-confidence, self-esteem and improved social skills.

Laughing and dancing can help us to be more spontaneous and less defensive, while encouraging us to release inhibition and to express our true feelings.

Lais is an ASCA accredited Energy Therapist, Reiki & Meditation teacher. More recently she became certified in Laughter Yoga because she loves the therapeutic benefits of laughing in a group setting. Since then she and her partners created the Geneva Laughter Club that holds monthly laughter events.
